Day - 1 : KAMAKHYA TEMPLE & GUWAHATI LOCAL

Early in the morning visit the famous Kamakhya Temple, situated in the Nilachal Hills. After that move to some local sights that include Umananda Temple (world’s smallest river island). The temple is located on peacock island that lies on the mighty Brahmaputra river. Alfresco Grand (the river cruise), Brahmaputra Heritage Park (Park), Balaji Temple, the beautiful south Indian temple surrounded with lush greenery. The Temple looks beautiful with pure white architectural structures and images of deities carved out in the walls. Overnight at Guwahati.

Day - 2 : GUWAHATI TO SHILLONG

Early in the morning, move towards shillong making a journey of about 3hours and will visit very firstly the UMIUM LAKE at Barapani where Boating facilities are also available. After that move towards the shillong city for local sight seeing that includes DON BOSCO MUSEUM, WARD’S LAKE, ELEPHANTA FALL’S etc and the famous POLICE BAZAR MARKET. Overnight at Shillong.

Day - 3 : SHILLONG TO DAWKI/MAWLYNNONG

Morning after breakfast, head for MAWLYNNONG VILLAGE, located in the East khasi hills of Meghalaya, has won the acclaim of being the cleanest village in Asia in2003. The village also offers a sight of natural balancing root bridge. After that we can move to INDIA-BANGLADESH BORDER and travel to DAWKI in the East Jaintia hills. On arrival is the UMNGOT RIVER where the water is crystal clear and is said to be the one of the clearest river in India. After that back to shillong and Overnight at Shillong.

Day - 4 : SHILLONG TO CHERRAPUNJEE

Morning after breakfast. Start the journey towards the wettest place on earth, cherrapunjee. It is at a distance of 60kms and on the way come across several waterfalls, limestone caves, and other natural sites. The sites that includes the WAHKABA FALLS, SEVEN SISTER FALLS, ECKO PARK, GARDEN OF CAVES, ARWAH CAVE, MAUSMAI CAVE, WAHKABA FALLS, RAMAKRISHNA MISSION, etc. and back to Guwahati.
