Day - 1 : KAMAKHYA TEMPLE AND LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
Early in the morning visit the famous Kamakhya Temple, situated in the Nilachal Hills. After that move to some local sights that includes UMANANDA TEMLPE, NABAGRAHA TEMPLE, ALFRESCO GRAND, BRAHMAPUTRA HERITAGE PARK, BALAJI TEMPLE etc. Overnight at Guwahati.
Day - 2 : GUWAHATI TO SHILLONG
Early in the morning, move towards shillong making a journey of about 3hours and will visit very firstly the UMIUM LAKE at Barapani where Boating facilities are also available. After that move towards the shillong city for local sight seeing that includes DON BOSCO MUSEUM, WARD’S LAKE, POLO GROUND, ELEPHANTA FALL’S etc and the famous POLICE BAZAR MARKET. Overnight at Shillong.
Day - 3 : SHILLONG TO CHERRAPUNJEE
Morning after breakfast. Start the journey towards the wettest place on earth, cherrapunjee. It is at a distance of 60kms and on the way come across several waterfalls, limestone caves, and other natural sites. The sites that includes the SEVEN SISTER FALLS, ECKO PARK, GARDEN OF CAVES, ARWAH CAVE, MAUSMAI CAVE, WAHKABA FALLS, RAMAKRISHNA MISSION, etc.. Overnight at Cherapunjee.
Day - 4 : CHERRAPUNJEE TO DAWKI/MAWLYNNONG
Morning after breakfast, head for MAWLYNNONG VILLAGE, located in the East khasi hills of Meghalaya, has won the acclaim of being the cleanest village in Asia in2003. The village also offers a sight of natural balancing root bridge. After that we can move to INDIA-BANGLADESH BORDER and travel to DAWKI in the East Jaintia hills. On arrival is the UMNGOT RIVER where the water is crystal clear and is said to be the one of the clearest river in India. After that back to shillong and Overnight at Shillong.
Day - 5 : SHILLONG TO KAZIRANGA
In the morning after breakfast, head for KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK making a journey of about 6 hours, the land of one horned rhinos. Before reaching kaziranga, visit the MAHA MRITYUNJAY TEMPLE situated in Nagaon, the world’s largest SHIVLINGA with a height of 126-feet. After that check in to hotel in kaziranga. By the evening visit the KAZIRANGA NATIONAL ORCHID and near by markets to explore traditional things of Assam. Overnight at Kaziranga (Kohra Range)
Day - 6 : KAZIRANGA TO BHALUKPONG
Early in the morning, Go for Elephant Safari/Jeep Safari as per choice to explore the natural beauty and wildlife habitat of Kaziranga including one horned rhinos, Deers, Wild Elephants, Tigers etc. After that return back to hotel and head towards Bhalukpong enjoyjing the beauty of KAMENG RIVER. Overnight at Bhalukpong.
Day - 7 : BHALUKPONG TO DIRANG
Morning after breakfast, start the journey towards Dirang. The journey to Dirang is very scenic because of the marvellous landscape surrounding it. Many Army Bases can be seen which are located in every few kilometres. Then move towards SANGTI VALLEY which is one of the most picturesque landscapes in the Eastern Himalayas where green hillsides are plump with orange and kiwi groves, and the scent of earth and pine from nearby forests fills the air. Overnight at Dirang.
Day - 8 : Dirang To Tawang
Wake up to a beautiful morning and enjoy the pleasant and cold weather of Dirang. Like three beads on a chain, Dirang lies between Bomdila And Tawang which is situated at an altitude of 4910-feet above the sea level. Check out from the hotel by 8 am and visit HOT SPRING FALLS, LDL BUDDHIST MONASTRY, TIPPI ORCHIDIUM, ZERO POINT, JASWANT GARH WARMEMORIAL, enroute Baisakhi Camp and reach SELA TOP. By the evening will reach Tawang and countdown starts for the New Year and Celebrations. Overnight at Tawang.
Day - 9 : Tawang Local sightseen
Wake up to a very beautiful morning in Tawang and feel the cold weater with snow all over around. The temperature may drop below and snowfall can be heavier. Then after breakfast, the day starts with sightseeings of TAWANG MONASTERY, The GIANT BUDDHA STATUE, DALAI LAMA, TAWANG WAR MEMORIAL(CM Memorial), and the WAR MEMORIAL SHOW in the evening. Overnight at the same hotel in Tawang.
Day - 10 : Bumla Pass, PITSO Lake, Madhuri Lake
Morning after breakfast, the Local car will take you to BUMLA PASS, GORICHEN PEAK, NAGULA LAKE, PITSO LAKE and the most famous SHONGASTER LAKE also known as Madhuri Lake. The lake was re-named so after the shooting of bollywood movie KOYLA, starring Madhuri Dixit, the beautiful actress. Back to hotel by the evening and Overnight at the same hotel in Tawang.
Day - 11 : Tawang To Bomdila
Morning after breakfast, will move towards Bomdila and visit the beautiful NURANANG FALLS also known as JUNG FALLS which is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in this part of the country. After that enroute SELA PASS, MANDALA TOP and reach Bomdila by the evening. Overnight at Bomdila.
Day - 12 : Bomdila To Guwahati
Morning after breakfast, will move towards BOMDILAMONASTERY, a small visit of the local markets. After Lunch will move towards Guwahati making a journey of about 5hours and YOUR JOURNEY ENDS IN A HAPPY NOTE.
