Day - 1 : GUWAHATI TO SHILLONG & SHILLONG LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

Early in the morning, move towards shillong making a journey of about 3 hours and will visit very firstly the UMIUM LAKE at Barapani which is a popular destination for water sport and adventure facilities. After that move towards the shillong city for DON BOSCO MUSEUM which is famous to study the tribal culture and cultural history of Meghalaya and other states. Then move towars WARD’S LAKE located in the centre of the city. Next move towards the ST. CATHEDRAL CHURCH. The Cathedral Church is a prominent landmark of shillong with beautiful and charming architectural design in its hilltop location. After that we can move towards LADY HYDARI PARK which is considered as the best maintained park with wide variety of local flowering plants and orchids. Finally but not the least visit the famous POLICE BAZAR MARKET, a famous shopping haunt, which is on the priority list for Hotels, Shops and Food hubs. Overnight at Shillong.

Day - 2 : LAITLUM, SHILLONG PEAK & ELEPHANT FALLS

Morning after Breakfast head for LAITLUM GRAND CANYON and feel the breathtaking view. It is located about 25kms from shillong literally translates to the ‘End of the Hills’. A very peaceful place to visit where the place is covered full of fog. After that move towards Shillong Peak, which is the highest point of Shillong and offers panoramic views of the city, the waterfalls, the lush green surroundings as well as the Bangladesh plains. After that move towards Elephant Falls, a tourists’ paradise with three layers of the falls accessible to the layman from different vantage points. After that move back to shillong and Stay the night at Shillong.

Day - 3 : MAWPHLANG SACRED FOREST, MAWSYNRAM

Morning after Breakfast, move towards Mawphlang Sacred Forest, which contains preserved scenes of nature. On arriving in Mawphlang, we can see one of the reserved Sacred Forests of the area which are under protection by religious sanctions. The Mawphlang Sacred Forest lies at a distance of about 25km from shillong and is known to be the home of many amazing plants, flowering trees, orchids, butterflies and many other types of Flaura and Fauna. Some activities can also be done there. After that move towards Mawsynram, checkout the MAWJYNGBUIN CAVE (Mawsynram Cave), Naturally formed Shiv Linga, Jakrem (Hotwater Spring). After that move towards cherrapunjee and Stay the Night at Cherrapunjee.

Day - 4 : DOUBLE DECKER LIVING ROOT BRIDGE, RAINBOW WATERFALLS

Early morning after breakfast, head for Double Decker Root Bridge, which is a trek of about 3500+ steps down and about 3hrs time needed to reach it. Exploring the beauty of Root Bridge move for Rainbow Waterfalls (Blue Lagoon), about one hour trekking from Double Decker Root Bridge. The Rainbow Waterfalls is specially known for its beauty and if the sunlight falls on the falls, a Rainbow is visible on the falls. It needs a bit of luck to see the Magic on the falls. After that return back to Hotel. Overnight at Cherrapunjee.

Day - 5 : SEVEN SISTER FALLS AND OTHER SIGHTSEEING IN CHERRAPUNJEE

After taking a deep sleep, get up late in the morning and after taking breakfast get ready to explore the beauty of several falls and limestone caves. Firstly we will move towards any of the two caves, Mausmai Cave or Arwah Cave which of both the caves are beautiful with a narrow, rugged limestone cave with a dimly-lit access point, low overhangs and often uneven footing. After that we can move to Eco Park which is mostly popular to view the origins of Seven Sister Falls and plains of Bangladesh across. After that we will move to the famous Seven Sister Falls also known as Nohsngithiang Falls, which is a seven segmented waterfall located one kilometre south of Mausmai Village in East Khasi Hills district. After then we can also visit Thangkharang Park, Kynrem Waterfalls, and Khoh Ramhah (Giant conical rock) and move back to Hotel. Overnight at Cherrapunjee.

Day - 6 : NOHKALIKAI FALLS, WEI SAWDONG, PRUT WATERFALS & DAINTHLEN

Morning after Breakfast, firstly we will head towards Nohkalikai Falls, which is the tallest plunge waterfall in India. A small local market with some beautiful local products and items including some small food joints can be found there. Next we can also take a small visit of Ramakrishna Mission ashrama. After that we will move towards Dainthlen, a very beautiful spot featuring a large waterfall in a serene landscape. Next we will move to Wei Sawdong, a three tiered waterfall located in the East of khasi hills. The place is difficult to access, and the trek to the waterfall is along an out-and-back trail and challenging. The falls are especially known for their bluish-green, crystal clear water. After that we can also move to Prut Waterfalls, located at Laitlyndop village near cherrapunjee. After that we will move towards hotel and Stay the night at Cherrapunjee.

Day - 7 : RANGKYLLIAW, BAMBOO TREK (MAWRYNGKHANG), MAWLYNNONG

Morning after Breakfast, head towards Rangkylliaw, Mawrah Village. The place is famous for the hanging bridge and the scenic beauty of the place is mesmerising. After that move towards Mawryngkhang Trek also known as the Bamboo trek. The place is famous for its bamboo trails of which majority of this trek was made up of Bamboo’s bridge where the master work of local tribal engineering can be seen. After that head towards Mawlynnong Village, located in the East khasi hills of Meghalaya, has won the acclaim of being the cleanest village in Asia in2003. The village also offers a sight of natural balancing root bridge, balancing rock, tree house etc. Overnight at Mawlynnong.

Day - 8 : DAWKI, SHNONGPDENG, INDO-BANGLADESH BORDER, KRANGSURI

Morning after Breakfast, move towards DAWKI the most famous place among tourists. On arrival is the UMNGOT RIVER where the water is crystal clear and is said to be the one of the clearest river in India (Activities like Boating can be done there). After that we can move to INDO-BANGLADESH BORDER and travel to SHNONGPDENG. Shnongpdeng is an adventure destination with several activities being hosted in the vicinity there. Activities like Boating and Camping on the natural sites can be done there. After that move towards Krangsuri Waterfalls which is Nestled amidst the mountains of Jaintia Hills and is one of the most stunning natural attractions in India. After that move back to Guwahati and YOUR JOURNEY ENDS IN A HAPPY NOTE
